It is probably one of the most asked questions in recent times of humans history.
“What kind of career or business will help me get rich very fast?”
There are many different areas and industries. Some are easier associated with being able to get rich, some less. But truth is that in any area or industry it is possible to get rich.
But you only can get rich, if you are one of the best in this industry.
What helps to get rich besides being good, talented or even already great in something?
Love.
Love in the form of obsessiveness and total one hundred percent commitment towards what you do, your career or your business.
It is much more likely and easier to get very good at something when you can’t imagine your life without it. When you think about it all the time when you forget the time when you get excited about it when you can’t stop talking about it and maybe even dream regularly about what you do, your career or your business.
When you are constantly learning more about it and try to find methods of doing it better.
You can try it but it is really difficult to do all this when you don’t love it or are passionate about it regardless of the money it can bring you.
What all very successful people have in common is that they love or are very passionate about what they do. They cannot really distinguish working from playing. It is both for them. Their playing is their working and their working is their playing for the very most of the time.
“You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
– Steve Jobs
Unless it isn’t fun for you, you probably won’t spend every single day and nearly every waking hour with it. But this is the way to become one of the best in it.
As a result of such obsession, you become an expert and market leader in this field. In case you’re also the most obsessed with and most passionate about it.
When you found what you love, you can let it make you rich.
By becoming an expert in it or by constantly looking for improvements in whatever field you choose to work in. By creating better, more effective and useful products or services or creating one of these which hasn’t existed yet in this form. By creating a lot of value with it, bringing it to the people, the marketplace and by demanding it what you perceive it is worth. Having the quality of your service or product, as well as the value for your customer, client, business partner or patient as your biggest concern. Before the money.
Love, passion or big meaning is the reason why many very successful entrepreneurs don’t stop working until their health almost forces them to do so. Even though they could have stopped working many years ago already to sit at the beach with nice drinks for the rest of their lives.
They seek fulfillment from what they do.
Bill Gates is one of many examples. Instead of doing vacations all year long he still loves being at the forefront of technology and spends most of his money being a philanthropist with his own foundations.
When you know you would do something also for free, which creates value for others in one way or another, it is a very good hint.
Quite often you like or love doing what you are good, talented or already great at.
When someone does something he or she loves, the focus, motivation, and discipline comes naturally.
When do motivation, focus, and discipline come together in your life?
By doing what you love, you also have more energy in and for what you do. You can work many hours without tiredness on or in it.
Once you found the reason for your extra energy, excitement, passion, and readiness, you found your kind of career or business with which you can create wealth.
You can now build your career or business around it and do everything you can, to become the best or one of the best in it. Or think about new ways of making the existing method(s) or product(s) work better.
When you exceed the expectations of your customers, clients or associates, you’re most likely to grow. By doing or offering only what people expect from the service or product, your tendency to growing your business isn’t as much there, as when you exceed their expectations in quality and value.
There is the outdating belief of many people, that you have to work hard to become rich and only then you can do and have the time to do what you love.
As with many things in life, the opposite is actually much smarter and more true.
Do what you love or are passionate about, earn money with it and continue doing what you love or are passionate about.
Maybe it is time to admit that maybe work isn’t always just work, but also play. And that play is not always only play.
It can be both at the same time.
For most of the time. Because every job can bring activities that are necessary or even by law dictated to follow, depending on the industry, that isn’t representing the core of what you love doing. But necessary. Like doing taxes. Or letting it be done.
The sooner you can delegate these things to focus more on what you’re best at and have most time for focusing on becoming better in that or doing it simply more, the better. Because the time you do what you’re best at is also the most valuable time in terms of money creation.
Learning to delegate activities or tasks can make a huge difference in the amount of income. An employee can cost you around 2000 or 3000 Euro, but with the new time you have now, you can offer your service now for example 3 times more than before in the same amount of time. You triple your income by paying 2000 or 3000 Euro on an assistant who takes care of the work and tasks that aren’t directly related to what you do best.
The beat of your heart is a good tool for measuring how much you love or are passionate about something.
Seek and you shall find.
